Calling All Utah Artists
This winter, Snowbasin is putting a piece of Utah's creative community on the mountain. We're inviting local artists to submit original artwork for a chance to have their design featured on our limited-edition Artist Series RFID Card- a collectible upgrade from our standard card, available exclusively this season. After we announce a winner, 2026-27 Season Pass holders can upgrade their current RFID card to the winning design. More details coming soon.
The Prize
- Your artwork featured on the official Artist Series RFID Card
- Your name printed on the card
- A free Snowbasin season pass
- Featured across Snowbasin's social and marketing channels
How It Works
- Submit your artwork using the form.
- Our staff will review all entries and narrow the field to a Top 5.
- The public votes on social media to choose the winning design.
- The winning artist is announced, and their artwork goes into production on the "Artist Series" Card.
Who Can Enter
Open to Utah-based artists. Each artist may submit up to 2 pieces.
There is no cost to enter.
Design Guidelines
We want to see real range and creativity- any medium, any style. A few ideas to get you started:
- Painting: watercolor, gouache, acrylic, oil, ink wash
- Drawing: pen & ink/line art, charcoal, colored pencil
- Digital: illustration, vector/flat design, pixel art
- Textural: collage, mixed media, block print/linocut, screen print, textile-inspired
- Photography or photo-illustration
- Abstract or geometric/pattern-based work
The Snowbasin logo or Sun icon is not required in your design, but we encourage artists to draw inspiration from the mountains and capture the Snowbasin spirit.
Not accepted: AI-generated artwork.
File Requirements
Your submission must meet the following specs:
- File Format: JPEG or PNG
- Final Trim Size: 54mm x 76mm (2.13" x 3"), full bleed- no white borders (640 x 900 px at 300 DPI), Color Mode: CMYK
- Design canvas (with bleed): approx. 60mm x 82mm (709 x 969 px with bleed)
