We’re sliding into Sunday, January 2nd with a dynamic mountain forecast and that unmistakable storm-day energy in the air. Expect a mix of rain and snow showers throughout the day, with even a rumble of thunder possible as systems move through the area. Temperatures will climb to a high near 37°, keeping things on the mild side, while a south-southwest wind around 10 mph adds a steady alpine breeze across the mountain.
Despite the active weather, our 28” base continues to hold strong, providing reliable coverage across the hill. With 4 lifts spinning and 20 open runs, you’ll still have access to a full 2,500 feet of vertical from top to bottom. Whether you’re stacking groomer laps or exploring open terrain, there’s plenty of mountain to enjoy, even as conditions shift through the day.
Precipitation chances sit high at 90%, but any new snow accumulation is expected to stay light—less than a half inch. While this won’t drastically change surface conditions, it can add a little refresh to the snow and keep that winter feel alive. Our mountain crews will be keeping a close eye on conditions to ensure everything stays running smoothly and safely.

Parking inventory is updated on weekends and holidays during the winter only. During the summer period, parking is abundant and is not expected to reach capacity.
When indicated as open, the Morning Route is open from 4am to 8am and the Daytime Route is open from 9am to 3:30pm.
