Bike Park Powered by SCOTT

Built for the mountain. Built for progression. Snowbasin’s new lift-served Bike Park is now open with custom-designed trails off Littlecat Express — trails that meet you where you are and take you somewhere bigger.

Whether you’re learning to read a berm for the first time or hunting for wooden features and step-downs, this park is designed to grow with you. With more trails planned for future seasons, you’re riding in on the ground floor.

What to Ride

The right bike makes all the difference

Riding a lift-served bike park is a different experience than most mountain biking - and the right bike makes it a better one. A full-suspension mountain bike with geometry built for descending is what these trails are designed around, and it shows every run. For riders who want to get the most out of the park at any skill level, a downhill-specific bike is the way to go.

An all-mountain bike - full suspension front and rear with a more versatile riding position - is a great option too, particularly for riders newer to bike park terrain. It gives you the suspension travel you need to ride confidently on the way down, and it’s the minimum setup we’d recommend for anyone heading into the park.

What to Wear

Come prepared, ride confident

Helmets are required in the bike park, and a helmet that fits well and suits the terrain makes a real difference. Riders heading into blue or black runs often find that a full-face helmet adds a level of confidence that changes how they ride.

Beyond the helmet, protective gear is there to help you ride your best. Knee pads, elbow pads, gloves, and goggles aren’t required, but they’re recommended.

Ride Smart

Start where the trail meets your skill

Every trail is marked and rated - green circles for beginner flow, blue squares for intermediate, black diamond for advanced. The beauty of a progression-built park is that there’s a right trail for where you are today, and a natural next step when you’re ready for it.
  • Warm up on an easier trail. Get a feel for the terrain and your bike before pushing into bigger features.
  • Lap it a few times. Learn where to carry speed and how each feature rides before committing at full pace.
  • Move up when it feels easy. Comfort on your current trail is the signal you’re ready for the next one.
