We're thrilled to announce that Snowbasin has been consistently ranked among America's best ski resorts by three of the industry's most respected publications: SKI Magazine, USA TODAY 10Best, and Outside Magazine.

John Paul

The iconic John Paul Lodge at 9,000’ with views of Mount Ogden and the entire Snowbasin ridgeline provides access from the base area to the north end of the resort. It features steep tree skiing and the world-famous Grizzly & Wildflower Downhill Courses from the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Games. Go even higher on the Allen Peak Tram and take in 360-degree views of multiple states. For intermediate skiers, enjoy the scenic route from Mt. Ogden Bowl Road.

Needles

The heart of Snowbasin, Needles Lodge provides base-area access and features world-class groomed runs. From here, enjoy our largest variety of intermediate and beginner runs, plus three terrain parks to explore. Consistently ranked in the top ten by SKI Magazine for grooming.

Strawberry

Strawberry’s unique wide-open bowls and groomed slopes feel like a playground that goes on for miles, with one of the longest runs in Utah. It’s home to bucket list slopes including Sister’s Bowl, Middle Bowl Cirque, and Lone Tree that rival any resort in North America. But before you head down the mountain be sure to take in the incredible panoramic scenery of the Great Salt Lake below.
