From the Top

The gondola operates on weekends throughout the summer season, making it an ideal addition to any mountain day. At the top, Needles Lodge sits at the summit with indoor and outdoor seating, dining, and panoramic views of DeMoisy Peak and the surrounding ridgeline. The large scenic patio is one of the best spots in Northern Utah to simply sit, take it all in, and let the mountain do the rest.

From the top you can venture out on foot along ridgeline trails, watch for wildlife in the meadows and rocky outcrops, or stay close to the lodge and soak in the scenery. However you spend your time up there, the views make it worth the ride.

*An RFID-enabled Basin Card is required for any activity that uses the lifts or gondola, including hiking and biking tickets, and gondola rides. New Basin Cards may be purchased for $2 and can be reloaded. Already have a card from a previous visit? It can be reloaded year-round for continued use for any event or activity that requires a Basin Card. Please note that lost, stolen, or damaged cards must be repurchased and cannot be refunded.
