“The new addition is a part of our aim to make Snowbasin not only a top-tier ski resort but a year-round outdoor recreation hub that serves our local community and beyond.” - Davy Ratchford, General Manager of Snowbasin

Snowbasin and Eden Valley Trails are working closely with the Utah High School Cycling League of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) to ensure the route can be used for both NICA sanctioned events and others. The new Hidden Trail Race Loop will span roughly seven miles and include rolling singletrack, flow sections, moderate technical climbs, and areas optimized for spectator access. Purposefully built for high school mountain bike racing, the design allows for around 500–1,000 participants per race. Hidden Trail Loop is expected to be completed for preview ahead of the 2025 NICA race season in mid-August.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Snowbasin on this transformative project to support the rapid growth of high school mountain biking right here in Utah.”

- Alan Wheelright, Executive Director of Eden Valley Trails.

While trail development is underway, Snowbasin will be fully operational, bringing back some summer classics. Full activities and offerings include:
