Merry Christmas!

Today we are operating with 2 lifts open and limited terrain available. Conditions are holding steady and our teams are focused on maintaining smooth surfaces for a comfortable day on the mountain. Coverage remains consistent and the resort is set up for relaxed cruising and holiday turns.

Snowbasin will open at 10am today so our team can spend time with their families before welcoming guests to the mountain. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we operate on a reduced schedule for the holiday.

If you are joining us today, expect a calm atmosphere, light crowds and a mellow Christmas Day experience on snow. It is a great opportunity to get a few turns in and enjoy the mountain in a quieter setting.

We’ll be opening at 10am today to give our hardworking team some extra time with their families. Thanks so much for your understanding and for choosing to celebrate the season with us.

Dont forget its the last day of our 12 days of Christmas Sale! $60 off weekday lift tickets starting in January. Holidays and peak periods are excluded, but this is the lowest price you’ll see all year, so don’t miss out.

Mother Nature continues to keep us on our toes this season. Due to current conditions and unusually warm temperatures, we will be adjusting mountain operations beginning Today, December 25.

From Thursday through Sunday, Littlecat Express and Becker Lift will be temporarily closed. Needles Gondola and Middle Bowl Express will remain open, offering access to intermediate and advanced upper-mountain terrain, with return access to the base area via Needles Gondola. Both Needles Lodge and Earl's Lodge will remain open for full food and beverage service.

Our mountain operations team has worked tirelessly through these challenging early-season conditions, utilizing innovative solutions such as snow farming and hand-moving snow to reinforce key coverage areas and help keep the mountain open. With colder temperatures and a storm system on the way, we're confident this stretch will allow our teams to rebuild lower mountain terrain and continue moving us toward the full Snowbasin experience.

To thank our visitors for their flexibility and support, we'll be offering half-priced lift tickets during this period. If you have purchased prior to this discount, please visit our ticket yurt or email ticketsales@snowbasin.com for a refund on the difference.
