SnowWiesn | Utah's Oktoberfest in the Mountains at Snowbasin

Utah's dog-friendly Oktoberfest is back. Named after d'Wiesn, the local nickname for the Oktoberfest fairgrounds in Germany, SnowWiesn is one of Utah's most anticipated fall festivals. Set against the backdrop of the Wasatch Range, the event features local craft beers served in authentic Bavarian steins, live music, food vendors, a local market, and family-friendly activities every weekend from late August through October.

Event highlights include:

Masskrugstemmen is a traditional stein-holding competition on Earl's Plaza every Sunday where you can compete for a chance to win fun prizes!
Gelände Quaffing is a two-to-four-person game that tests your hand-eye coordination and creativity; don't let your mug hit the ground!
Das Boot: How fast can you finish Das Boot?
Costume Competition: Come in your best Bavarian-themed attire for a chance to show off on the concert stage and compete for fun prizes!
Cornhole boards are spread out in the Wildflower Meadow so you can play with your friends!

Parking is free, but a season pass or ticket is required for entry. Single-Day Event Tickets are $10. All Snowbasin Season Pass Holders receive complimentary event access; learn more about season passes.

A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the Ogden Valley Land Trust and GOAL Foundation to assist with their respective missions to better local communities.

While you're planning your visit, note that Needles Lodge is closed Saturdays and open Sundays for the Mountain-Top Brunch Buffet.
