Snowbasin Kicks Off Summer 2026 with a New Bike Park and Signature Mountain Experiences

Huntsville, UT – June 16, 2026 – Snowbasin Resort, a top-rated mountain destination, just announced its summer lineup, including events and offerings running weekends from June 20 through October 11. Along with the introduction of Snowbasin’s brand new lower-mountain bike park, Powered by Scott, the resort will be bringing back mountain classics such as its Blues & Brews concert series, Mountain-Top Brunch, Sunset Social, SnowWiesn Oktoberfest, lift-served hiking and mountain biking, and more.


“We believe every season is better spent in the mountains, and this summer is no exception,” said Davy Ratchford, COO and General Manager of Snowbasin Resort. “From the launch of our new bike park to the return of some of our staple Snowbasin traditions, this season is filled with a variety of ways for guests to experience the beauty, adventure, and community that make Snowbasin such a special place. We look forward to welcoming everyone and their dogs back to the mountains.”

Located off Littlecat Express, Snowbasin’s new lift-served bike park, created in partnership with SCOTT Sports, will debut on opening day at the resort with a special mountain-bike themed weekend to celebrate. The festivities will include a BBQ on the plaza, vendor pop-ups, and various activations across Snowbasin. The new park will feature beginner-friendly trails that include mellow terrain with berms and wooden skill features, alongside intermediate and advanced flow trails offering multiple tabletops and features scattered throughout the course. The bike park is set to open with four trails with room to expand in future seasons. The park will be available Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, and from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays.

In addition to the new bike park, summer at Snowbasin has a variety of activities for locals and visitors alike. The resort’s full offerings include: 

On Mountain Dining Experiences 

  • Mountain-Top Brunch: On Sundays, beginning June 21st, guests can take a scenic gondola ride to Needles Lodge, located 8,700 feet above sea level, for Snowbasin’s Mountain-Top Brunch experience, served from 10:00 to 2:30 p.m. The grand buffet spread features an array of premium dishes along with customizable options at the resort’s chef-operated stations. Seatings are available both inside and on the patio. Reservations are required and include access to Blues & Brews or SnowWiesn Oktoberfest, depending on the date. 
  • Sunset Social: Snowbasin’s newest dining experience will return this summer every Thursday evening from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., beginning July 2. Sunset Social includes live music, a full bar with a custom cocktail menu, delicious pub-fare food, and sunset views from the top of Snowbasin. The new Powered by Scott bike park will also be open during these events from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
  • NEW Cinnabar Dining: The resort’s popular winter après spot is opening for a new season this year. The Cinnabar will make its summer debut, bringing its signature atmosphere and focus on shared plates and handcrafted cocktails to guests, providing a new place to unwind after a day on the trails, bike park, or one of Snowbasin's signature events. The restaurant will offer an elevated gastropub menu and full-service bar, every weekend this summer from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Blues & BrewsSnowbasin's signature outdoor concert series is held every Saturday and Sunday through August 23 from 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. Each week, national and local artists will take the stage for a full afternoon of live music held at the resort’s base area. The event also features local craft brews, specialty food, and a dog-friendly atmosphere. NEW this season, Snowbasin’s annual collectible beer stein will be created by Utah’s own HydroJug and will be refillable at all 2026 Blues & Brews and SnowWiesn Oktoberfest events for a discounted price. Gondola AccessNeedles Gondola will operate Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.mm to 4:00 p.m., offering guests scenic rides to 8,700 feet with access to lift-served hiking and biking trails. Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the resort. Snowbasin Premier Pass Holders enjoy complimentary summer gondola access as part of their annual pass benefits.

Mountain Biking & Hiking Trails: In addition to the new “Powered by Scott” bike park, Snowbasin is home to more than 20 trails spanning over 26 miles, offering a mix of lift-served and trailhead-accessible options for bikers and hikers of all abilities. Guests can explore alpine terrain across 3,000 acres with routes ranging from gentle forested paths to technical downhill runs.

Mini-Golf: Snowbasin’s 18-hole Wildflower Mini-Golf Course, located at the base area between Needles Gondola and John Paul Express, will be open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays during regular summer operations. The course is also available for private group bookings and events. Tickets can be purchased in person or online.

SnowWiesn Oktoberfest: Utah’s dog-friendly Oktoberfest will return to Snowbasin every Saturday and Sunday beginning on August 29. This German-inspired fall festival includes traditional Bavarian cuisine, a bustling mountain market, family-friendly activities, and a rotating lineup of live music through October 11.
