Fall is settling into the mountains this weekend, with temperatures ranging from the 60s to low 70s. It's the kind of crisp, comfortable weather that makes for perfect hiking, biking, and relaxing at Snowbasin.
Kick off the weekend Thursday, September 10, with Sunset Social, running from 5pm to 10pm with cocktails, live music, and great company as the sun goes down. Saturday and Sunday, September 12 and 13, bring SnowWiesn Oktoberfest from 12pm to 6pm, with Bavarian food, beer, and live music filling out the base area. The Bike Park powered by SCOTT will also be open both days, Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 5pm. Cap off the weekend Sunday with our Mountain-Top Brunch at Needles Lodge, seating guests from 10am to 2:30pm with stunning views to match (reservations required).
Trail Closures for UTMB World Series
Saturday, September 12 also brings the UTMB World Series race to Snowbasin, with some operational changes worth noting. All Snowbasin trails outside of the bike park will be closed to the public on Saturday to accommodate the race. Bikes will not be permitted on the gondola that day, though foot passengers are still welcome to hike. UTMB Racers will use the Sardine trail network throughout the day, so bikers should plan to ride the Canyon Rim Trail instead. If you'd like to ride, our Bike Park powered by SCOTT stays open throughout the closure.
