Needles Trail [#1] — Top-to-Bottom Singletrack

Distance: 6.6 miles | Difficulty: Intermediate | Access: Needles Gondola

A top-to-bottom run from Needles Lodge to the base area, winding through shaded pine forest, open brush, and aspen groves. Uncovered sections open up to wide mountain views across Ogden Valley.

Moonshine Trees Trail [#2] — Flowy Singletrack

Distance: 0.7 miles | Difficulty: Beginner-Friendly | Access: Off Needles Trail #1

A short, flowy singletrack segment through wildflowers and aspen. A great connector for riders of all levels looking to extend a Needles Trail run.

Porcupine Trail [#3] — Downhill Only

Distance: 4.2 miles | Difficulty: Advanced | Access: Off Summer Road #21 / Needles Trail #1

A downhill-only trail with technical singletrack, tight switchbacks, and sections of loose rock and roots. One of Snowbasin's most challenging descents.

Green Pond Trail [#11] — Family-Friendly Out-and-Back

Distance: 2.6 miles (out and back) | Elevation Gain: 695 ft | Difficulty: Easy-Moderate | Access: Snowbasin Road & Base Area

A scenic out-and-back route passing through trees and wildflowers to a mountain pond with a picnic table. Kid-friendly and dog-friendly.

Ridge Trail [#17]

Distance: 0.5 miles | Difficulty: Easy | Access: Needles Gondola (above Needles Lodge)

A short ridgeline trail between Needles and Demoisy peaks with panoramic views of Ogden Valley. Dog-friendly.

Strawberry Observation Point

Located off Strawberry Trail [#16] and Needles Trail [#1], this amazing picnic and observation point overlooks the valley, offering a perfect spot for a picnic with scenic views.
