Hot food service has concluded for the 2023-24 season. Drinks, beer and snacks remain available daily.

Without a doubt, the best restaurant view in all of Utah. It’s like a lookout tower offering stunning views of the entire resort and Mt. Ogden Ridgeline. Take in the scene as you try our Bavarian schnitzel, beer bratwurst, or what has been called the best Reuben in Utah. There’s also an all-day Belgian waffle bar, with every topping you can dream of. 

This scenic eatery is accessible for skiers, riders, and adventurous foot passengers looking to enjoy a scenic open-air chairlift. So come experience John Paul Lodge! Sightseeing tickets are available to ride up and ride down the John Paul Express during winter operations.

Outside food and drink are not permitted inside John Paul Lodge. This helps prevent contamination of food and allergens while reserving tables for guests dining with Snowbasin. Picnic spaces are permitted in outdoor areas, or the basement of our mountain lodges.
