The Becker Chairlift project represents one of the most significant infrastructure investments in recent resort history. What started as a 1986 fixed-grip triple chair has been completely transformed into a state-of-the-art detachable quad system. After months of intensive construction work, including tower installations and terminal placements throughout the fall, the lift has passed all safety testing and is ready to operate. This high-speed technology will transport approximately 1,800 riders per hour to the top terminal in just six minutes, a dramatic improvement that will open up terrain access like never before. Complementing this lift upgrade, Snowbasin has also installed RFID gates at lifts across the resort.
