First Snow, Fall Colors, SnowWiesn Oktoberfest & More!

We’ve officially received our first snow of the season, and a month earlier than last year! With white fluff coating the bright fall colors, we are experiencing a two-for-one on seasons this week. Is this a sign predicting another historic winter? We sure hope so.

As for this weekend, SnowWiesn is back for another Sunday! Plus, the gondola hours have been extended for the remaining SnowWiesn events, allowing for scenic fall lift rides through 6:00 p.m. every Sunday. The last ride up will be at 5:30 p.m. Don’t miss your chance to experience our legendary fall colors from new heights.

Visit us on Saturday from 9:00 - 4:00 p.m. for mini-golf, mountain-side dining and gondola-assisted hiking and biking. SnowWiesn will kick off on Sunday at noon and run through 6:00 p.m. with a local vendor market, delicious Bavarian food, live music, and lots of great local brews. Be sure to come and enjoy some of the best Oktoberfest-themed fun around!

Downhill mountain biking will be available Saturday and Sunday with expert-only downhill access on our Porcupine trail. Due to the ongoing construction of our newest high-speed lift, DeMoisy Express, the Needles, Middle Bowl, Diamond, Becker Moonshine and Strawberry trails will remain closed. Last Chance will be closed due to snowmaking construction on Elk Ridge. Porcupine will be open for downhill, expert access only. Lower mountain trails will remain open!

Thanks for your patience and understanding as we bring these exciting projects to life ahead of the upcoming ski season.
