About the Artists:
In an era of click-bait and sound bites, Yarn provides a real experience. They're not just a live band, they're a band for people who want to live. They play Alternative Country, Americana, and Roots.
Legend has it that the Canyon Kids were born by the river. The shady groves along the Snake River canyon's steep banks would be the perfect sanctuary for just about any singer-songwriter with a beat-up old guitar---and so it was with friends Bo Elledge and Dusty Nichols. Confined to the river, the job was to kill time with the music. They would write folky strums and rich harmony, coming up with several songs that summer.
Like an old country song but in the modern age. Morgan Snow is an American singer-songwriter. His life has played out like a twisted and morphed country song in an alternate universe that took a hit of acid instead of just going to bed. Unlike most of his country counterparts, however, he has spent a summer in prison. It should be clarified though that Morgan left each afternoon after spending the day being one of the only people in the world who would sit face to face with the criminally insane, and part of an even smaller group of people who would ask them “How are you?” Morgan uses his hand-eye coordination and sensibility to write songs reflecting human perceptions and experiences. Snow's "voice is pure soul," with hints of familiarity, it is haunting and powerful and with no comparison to pinpoint. It is the one thing you won’t forget. Some of his songs hurt, some make you laugh at him or yourself, but what is shared from night tonight after the show is a connection, a new relationship waiting to be revisited and rekindled time and time again. Morgan Snow plays solo and when he is accompanied by other musicians he plays under the name Triggers & Slips.
