Join Snowbasin Resort and the Ogden Symphony Ballet Association as they present the Utah Symphony in a patriotic evening of symphony music under the stars! Conductor Jerry Steichen will lead the orchestra in a patriotic celebration featuring Broadway star Lisa Vroman, who thrilled audiences as Christine in the Phantom of the Opera, performing all your red, white and blue favorites on Friday, June 30th at Snowbasin Resort at 8:00pm.
The Utah Symphony will perform in front of the beautiful backdrop of the Ogden Valley and Earl’s Lodge. The venue will open at 5:30pm. Arrive early for best seating options. The performance length will be approximately two hours with a 20-minute intermission. Earl’s Lodge will have food and drinks available starting at 5:30pm. A special symphony menu includes slow-roasted New York strip loin, honey and rosemary roasted chicken, grilled salmon filet, a gourmet grilled cheese station and much more.
Again this year, a special activity for children will take place before the performance. Riverton Music’s Petting Zoo will be on site to encourage children to touch, play and explore many different musical instruments. This is a wonderful way to introduce your children to the world of music by exploring the musical petting zoo and experiencing the Utah Symphony performance.
This exciting performance is presented in partnership with Ogden Symphony Ballet Association (OSBA). OSBA's mission is to uplift, enrich, and inspire our community by presenting world-class arts concerts and through its outreach initiatives.
