FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Snowbasin, UT (November 5, 2015) – Snowbasin Resort will operate its snowmaking system beginning on November 5, 2015. A low pressure system moving across Utah is bringing reduced overnight temperatures which will allow Snowbasin Resort to begin making snow to create a base for the upcoming ski and snowboard season.
Snowbasin Resort’s expanded snowmaking system is now able to produce snow up to 15 times longer than prior seasons. This allows for more efficiency during cold temperature periods and the ability to open more skiing and snowboarding terrain sooner than in previous years.
Weather and conditions permitting, Snowbasin Resort plans to open on November 25, 2015 for their 75th Anniversary season.
