Snowbasin Resort Releases Fifth Anniversary Free Summer Concert Series Line-Up

By Megan Collins Thu Apr 20 2017 Basin Buzz, Dining & Entertainment, Summer Concert Series, Upcoming Events

Snowbasin Resort releases an elevated line-up of nationally and regionally touring artists and bands that will fill the mountain air with music every Sunday afternoon this summer for the fifth anniversary of their Blues, Brews & BBQ Free Summer Concert Series. Blues, Brews & BBQ is quickly becoming the most coveted free concert series in all of Utah and this year’s line-up will not disappoint. The free, live music rocks Earl’s Lodge patio and lawn every Sunday 12:30pm – 5:30pm from June 11 – September 24. Three bands will perform each week, playing everything from blues to funk and Americana to rock and roll, offering a family-friendly environment for everyone to enjoy.

The 2017 Blues, Brews & BBQ concert series will kick off with Big Sam’s Funky Nation on June 11 and the fun will continue all summer long with crowd favorites and powerhouse bands like Los Lobos, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Turnpike Troubadors and Andy Frasco. “This being the 5th anniversary of Blues, Brews and BBQ’s I think we put some pressure on ourselves to really take the lineup to whole a new level. We took some risks we might not have in years past and basically said forget about the risk a little and focus on the possibilities. We loaded up each and every week. We have bands playing support this year that I would have no problem headlining any of our shows. We knew we had to exceed expectations and I think we have done that,” says Jason Ostler, Dining and Entertainment Manager. Check out the Spotifiy playlist for a preview, https://goo.gl/AXG5Hd.
