Snowbasin Resort is thrilled to offer guests a variety of new food experiences this upcoming season with the recently renovated Earl’s Lodge, a new Food & Beverage Director and a new Executive Chef. Ski Magazine already ranks Snowbasin #3 in on-mountain eats in the industry and with these improvements, they are sure to raise in ranks in the future.

Earl’s Lodge went under a full renovation this summer with a focus on improving the flow for the guest and elevated food. The renovation includes easier grab-and-go options, a craft beer station, a coffee and pastry station, new stations and elevated food quality. Some new items to look forward to including an Old-Fashioned Turkey Pot Pie, Vietnamese Pho, Thai Salad and Korean Fried Chicken. The grand opening will be held on Friday,, November 30th  in conjunction with opening day and there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 am inside Earl’s Lodge.

Alan Dickerson, Director of Food and Beverage says, “We are excited about the renovation of Earl’s with the addition of a few new stations like; Beehive Beer and Basin Bakery and Barista!  Above all, we are eager for our guests to enjoy the updated menu items throughout the resort.  Please take a moment and experience dining at a higher elevation and join us for the grand opening at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 30th.”

Needles Lodge, John Paul Lodge, the Cinnabar and Strawberry Café didn’t have any physical renovations but the new Executive Chef, Nick Davies has brought some new menu items for every guest to add to their bucket-list food items to taste this winter.

Some menu items to look for at Needles Lodge include Two Tacos – Pork Al Pastor & Chimichurri Chicken, French Onion Soup, Strawberry Salad with Chicken, Sweet Potato Sandwich and more. John Paul Lodge is expanding the Belgian Waffle Station with operations all day, as well as offering Schnitzel and Waffles, Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage, Bavarian Giant Pretzel, an Apple and Brie Panini and more. The Cinnabar is the après ski spot with free live music on the Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays offering new items including Brussels and Bacon, Orange and Pomegranate Salad, Salmon Picatta, Steak Frites and more.  Strawberry Café at the bottom of Strawberry is a quick stop to refuel before hitting the gondola to do it all again; items featured include Jalapeno Cheddar Sausages, Thai Noodle Salad, Roasted Veggie Sandwich, Tomato Basil Bisque, and more.

Furthermore, Chef Nick Davies and the Director of Food and Beverage, Alan Dickinson are thrilled to bring the Snowbasin clientele upgraded Dining Discovery Dinners with their own spin to make these evening dining experiences even more special. Dates will be announced soon on our website.
