With the continued success of the Learn and Earn Program, Snowbasin Resort is enthusiastic to bring back the 3-year program this year. The leading introduction program in the nation is now on sale for next season. Davy Ratchford, Snowbasin Resort General Manager states, “Snowbasin has brought thousands of first-time skiers and snowboarders into the snow sports world since the program started. We are pleased to offer the best program in the nation that alleviates big deterrents to entering this fun world of skiing and riding. By keeping the price point affordable, providing excellent equipment from Rossignol, and three all-day lessons with free season access to the mountain after instruction we’ve created an award-winning program for everyone. The Learn & Earn program focuses on instilling a sense of inclusivity among newcomers and does a great job at creating lifelong participants in skiing and snowboarding. We are excited to watch the program continue to grow and bring even more people into the industry.”
The three-year program provides a road map and incentives along the way to become a core participant in the snow sports world. “It’s fantastic to see the energy and enthusiasm for growing skiing and riding from all the resorts across the country,” said Kelly Pawlak, NSAA president/CEO. “The success of Snowbasin’s program is impressive and, along with the other winners of the Conversion Cup, provides a model for areas to consider as they develop and refine their own programs.” Year one of Learn & Earn includes three all-day group lessons, seasonal Rossignol rental of ski or snowboard equipment, and a season pass upon completion of the third lesson. This product is now on sale for just $449 and for winter 2019-2020. When guests visit Snowbasin over the summer they get fitted for equipment, meet instructor staff, become familiar with the resort, and get answers to any questions they may have.
Guests who complete the first year are eligible for year two, known as Learn, Earn & Return – which consists of three additional group lessons, a season pass for next season, and purchase of the gear that was specifically fitted for them. The second-year program is currently on sale for $599 for adults and $499 for youth.
Year three of the program, Learn Earn & Graduate continues the momentum with a premier season pass, a private lesson and numerous other special perks for just $599 for adults and $299 for youth.
The three-year program saves thousands of dollars over time and gets people involved in the snow sports world. For more information about the Learn & Earn Program or to purchase it visit www.snowbasin.com or call (801) 620-1000.
