Experience a traditional backyard family-style Cajun Crawfish Boil right here in the mountains of Utah! Snowbasin Resort’s Dining Discovery dinner on August 26, 2016 will be a culinary expedition of the senses, bringing Louisiana right to Earl’s Lodge.
This traditional crawfish boil starts off with a featured hurricane or hand-grenade cocktail, which can be made non-alcoholic, and an appetizer buffet of crab and artichoke dip, muffaletta sliders, alligator sausage hush puppies and catfish cakes with creole remoulade. A traditional Dixie Land Jazz Band will whisk you away to New Orleans while dinner is served family style with a bucket of crawfish, shrimp, andouille sausage, potatoes and corn on the cob poured directly onto your table. A variety of creole sides accompany the star of the show including chicken jambalaya, mague choux, collard greens and black eyed peas, creole potato salad and more. Cap the night off with a dessert bar including pecan pralines, mardi gras king cake, sweet potato pie, frosted banana bars and mud cake.
