In honor of Earth Day, a group of Snowbasin Employees gathered together to spruce up the Snowbasin grounds. Groups of staff went around the base area, Maples, Earl's, the roadways, and the Old Day Lodge Parking area picking up litter.
After the litter was all picked up, the employees went back to the recycling bay and sorted all the waste that could be recycled. Overall they collected and sorted two gaylords of recyclable plastic, aluminum, glass, and metal while disposing of a stack of green waste and two dumpsters full of un-recyclable materials.
Excited to highlight a very clean Snowbasin for when we open for summer operations on Saturday, June 9.
After careful monitoring of the ever evolving environment around COVID-19, and following guidance from local and national health organizations, Sun Valley and Snowbasin Resorts have decided to close for the remainder of the 2019-20 winter season, effective March 16, 2020. This decision has been made proactively for the safety and interest of our employees, guests and communities.Read More
