Dining Discovery Events Continue Through October

As we wait for the lifts to start spinning, there are still events happening at Snowbasin Resort. Dining Discovery Events continue through the end of October at Earl’s Lodge. First, improve your cooking skills with Cooking 101 on Friday, October 21. For $50 learn about set-up, knife work, napkin folds, herbs and spices, bakery basics, plating and much more from the award-winning Snowbasin Resort Culinary team from 6pm–9pm. It will be a great night filled with good food and lots of information. Call 801-620-1021 for reservations.

If you would rather have the cooking done for you, why not delight in the annual Whiskey Dinner on Friday, October 28. Enjoy a 4-course meal paired with different whiskeys from High West Distillery. Dinner is from 6pm–9pm and costs $70 a person. . Some of the menu highlights are a chocolate seared sea scallop with candied duck bacon and orange garlic aioli for an appetizer, and hearty buffalo tenderloin, butter braised Yukon gold potato with charred green onions and fig reduction for the main courseThis event sells out every year, so call now and make your reservation at 801-620-1021.

Looking for a more family-friendly Dining Discovery? Then mark your calendar for Saturday, October 29 from 6pm –9pm at Earl’s Lodge for a fun-filled Halloween dinner and party. There will be a creative and festive all-you-can-eat buffet, a costume contest, a dance contest, children’s games, prizes, treat baskets, a live DJ, and a cash bar. Adults 12 and older are $30, Youth 6 to 11 are $15, 5 and under are free. Reservations are recommended. Call 801-620-1021.
