Snowbasin is
pleased to announce that Tim Eastley is the terrain park manager. Armed with 14 years of experience at a
premiere Colorado resort, Tim is implementing a new progressive
terrain park system, incorporating lessons with ski school and obstacles that are well maintained, consistently groomed, and fun for all abilities.
Upper Krazy Kat
terrain park is a medium park on skiers right of Littlecat run.
This park has five rails and three jumps.
Lower Krazy Kat
terrain park is between Needles Gondola and the new Littlecat
Quad. It is a small park
with three rails and two jumps.
Near the top of Porcupine lift, next
to Porky Face run, lies Apex Park. The park currently has four rails
with more to come, but no jumps due to snowmaking issues.
Just south of the bottom of
Strawberry Express Gondola, near Coyote Bowl run, sits Coyote
Park. This park has five rails with more to come, but no jumps
due to snowmaking issues.
The
Superpipe is not being built this year
due to snowmaking issues. This has been an abnormal season so
far, but next season will be better than ever with jumps, rails,
a new Superpipe location and a new dedication to terrain parks
from management.
Additionally, Snowbasin's terrain
offers several natural halfpipes throughout the mountain. For
information about where they are located visit our
Trail Maps
page.
Snowbasin promotes freestyle terrain
safety. For general guidelines, visit
