Don’t worry, you do not have to be Daron Rahvles or Bode Miller to race. Whether you are young, old, an expert racer or just a beginner, Nature Valley NASTAR and Snowbasin is for you! Nature Valley NASTAR is a great way for families, friends and co-workers to ski and compete against one another. You can also organize and register a team to compete against other teams across the country and every time you race your results will be recorded for your team. So go ahead, don’t be afraid this season, join the millions of skiers and riders of all ages and abilities and experience the thrill of racing gates – just like the pros.

NASTAR is the acronym for the NAtional STAndard Race and is the largest public recreational grassroots ski program in the world. Since 1968, more than 4.7 million skiers, have raced NASTAR. Through the development of a handicap system similar to golf, skiers of all ages and abilities that race NASTAR are able to compare their race results to other competitors across the country regardless of when and where they race.
