Located in the northern Utah community of Huntsville and the spectacular Wasatch-Cache National Forest, Snowbasin has established itself as a destination that savvy fans want to keep to themselves. Snowbasin is an easy 43 mile drive from downtown Salt Lake City and the Salt Lake International Airport; and only 17 miles from the city of Ogden, UT.

Description
There is nothing as sweet as summer in the mountains. While it is sweltering in the valley, the climate at Snowbasin’s high elevations is perfect. The invigorating and crystal-clear skies provide cool breezes and a warm sun for all to enjoy. The wildflowers form a colorful blanket over the slopes, and the aspen leaves gleam in the wind. Only 40 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City and 20 minutes from Ogden, it is an easy drive to beautiful Snowbasin!

Dining Facilities
Needles Lodge Dining Room
Needles Lodge Dining Room showcases spectacular views from 8,710 feet, just below the summit of Snowbasin. Lunch is available in the servery at Needles Lodge on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For an elevated dining experience on Saturday evening, plated selections and specials are offered from the menu. Dinner is served from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Reservations are recommended by calling (801) 620-1021.

Earl's Lodge Cinnabar Lounge
Located in Earl's Lodge, the air-conditioned Cinnabar Lounge is open every Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Full menu bar is available, all ages are welcome.

Wildflower Meadow
Enjoy fresh mountain air, a beautiful setting and Bar-B-Que in Wildflower Meadow Sunday afternoons from 1:00 to 6:00 pm. Our Sunday afternoon Bar-B-Que and live music series features a high altitude eclectic variety of music including: Reggae; Rock and Roll; Bluegrass and Blues. Join us every Sunday for live music from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. through October 4.

Yes, wireless Internet access is available in all of the day lodges and at the Grizzly Center.

Snowbasin's master plan includes plans for a complete resort package. Our building schedule has not been determined at this time.

In the Ogden Valley there are condominiums, motels, B&B and private ski homes available. You can search for the properties at ovba.org. Ogden, UT, located 17 miles away, has a vast assortment of properties available. Accommodations there can be checked out at ogdencvb.org.
