The following positions are immediately open for application:
Dishwashers - Full and Part-time positions. $8.50 per hour to start for full-time. Includes free meals and skiing!!

Event Sales Assistant - Now accepting applications for this part-time position. Selected individual will work no more than 30 hours per week, Monday thru Friday with the occasional Saturday. Primary duties will be phones, files, and giving the occasional tour of the property.

Race Department - Now accepting applications for the 2008-2009 winter season. Ski Resort race department experience helpful, but will train the right individuals with some race experience. Full and part-time spots avialable…pay based on experience.

Snowmaking - Full-time seasonal position. 4 day work week; 4 days on-- 3 days off. Shifts run from 7 PM - 7 AM. Applicants should be able to ski and/or snowboard. Mechanical background desired, but not required. $8.50 per hour to start.

Terrain Park Supervisor - Full-time seasonal position with possibility of year-round employment. Must have 3-5 years experience in design, construction, and maintenance of park. Mature, safety-minded individuals only need apply. $12.00 - 14.00 BOE.

We will be accepting applications for the following positions effective 10/10/2008:
Baker - Performs a variety of baking duties and assists with the preparation of breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, pies, cakes, doughnuts, croissants, biscuits and other pastries. High school diploma, at least six months of experience or culinary education that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Cleaning and maintaining work area. utensils and equipment. Ability to obtain State of Utah Food Handler's Certificate. Entry-level wage is $10/hr.

Barista - Must be 21 years of age or older. Duties include serving and cashiering for the Bar/Lounge Area. As Barista you will serve a variety of beverages to our guests. Previous experience required. Excellent customer service and cash handling skills a must. Must maintain a neat, orderly and well stocked work area and other duties as assigned. Expect to work Holidays and weekends. Entry-level wage is $8/hr.

Building/Facilities Maintenance - Must be 18 years of age or older. Plumbing, electrical, telecom, HVAC, carpentry skills preferred. All-around handy-man willing to take on any task. Wage depends upon experience and/or education. Ability to lift heavy objects. Expect to work Holidays and weekends.

Cashier - Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have excellent customer service and cash handling skills. Individual will be required to itemize and obtain payment from our gusts for purchased items. Multiple language skills will be an advantage to this position. Must maintain and orderly work station and other duties as assigned. Expect to work Holidays and weekends. Entry level wage is $8/hr.

Daycare Provider - Must be 18 years of age or older. Experience required. Candidate must be willing to participate in Child Development training. Expect to work Holidays and weekends. Food handlers permit preferred. Ten year background check will be performed. Entry-level wage is $8/hr.

Dishwashers - Must be 16 years of age or older. Performs a wide range of kitchen duties, including but not limited to, maintaining a neat work station. This is a fast paced important function of our kitchen and of course, meals are included! Entry-level wage is $8.00/hr.

Guest Services - Must be 18 years of age or older. This is an outside job needing very versatile people. Must be a good skier. Duties would range from acting as tour guide on the mountain, giving directions and answering questions, to shoveling walkways and moving equipment. In general, pitching in and helping out where and whenever needed, with guests and other departments. Expect to work Holidays and weekends. Entry-level wage is $7.50/hr.

Housekeeping - Must be 18 years of age or older. Full-time position. Employee must be dependable, flexible and able to follow instructions. Duties would include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, etc. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform other duties as assigned. Expect to work Holidays and weekends. Entry level wage is $8.00/hr.

Lift Operators - Must be 18 years of age or older. This is an outdoor, full-time, daytime position. Requires friendly, attentive, dependable people to safely assist guests onto the lifts. Shoveling to clear lift area required and other duties as assigned. On avalanche control mornings, lift operators may be required to come to work as early as 5:30 a.m. Expect to work Holidays and weekends. Entry-level wage is $8.00/hr.

Parking Attendants - Must be 16 years of age or older. This is an outdoor, daytime position. Requires friendly, assertive people able to direct traffic to designated parking spots. Expect to work Holidays and weekends. Entry-level wage is $7.50/hr.

Prep Cook - Prepares, seasons and cooks a wide variety of meats, vegetables, soups, breakfast dishes and other food items. High school diploma, at least six months of experience or culinary education that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Ability to obtain State of Utah Food Handler's Certificate. Entry-level wage is $8.50/hr.

Race Department - Full-time and part-time, seasonal position. Employee will coordinate all race activities. Duties to include, course setting, timing and familiarity with USSA qualification. Wage depends upon experience.

Restaurant Attendants - Must be 16 years of age or older. Performs a wide range of duties including, but not limited to, maintaining a neat and adequately stocked workstation; move, clean and arrange tables and chairs, and take soiled dishes to the kitchen. Ability to obtain Utah Food Handler's Certificate. Entry-level wage is $7.35/hr.

Retail Sales Associates/Rental Clerks - Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have excellent customer service and cash handling skills. Retail sales experience in the Ski/Snowboarding Industry preferred. Individual will be responsible to see that the Retail Center and/or Rental Shop is neat and orderly. Other duties include, but are not limited to, assisting in inventory and ordering, display's, etc. Must be able to work in a fast paced, stressful environment. Expect to work Holidays and weekends. Entry-level wage is $8.25/hr.

Senior Cook - Prepares, seasons and cooks a wide variety of meats, vegetables, soups, breakfast dishes and other food items in large quantities. Provides training and guidance to other employees performing the same or related work. High school diploma, at least three years of experience that is directly related tot he duties and responsibilities specified. Supervising the activities of cooks and/or other employees performing the same or related duties, and the ability to obtain State of Utah Food Handler's Certificate. Entry-level wage is $9.50/hr.

Servers - Must be 18 years of age or older. Our full service restaurant is seeking experienced fine dining servers who are confident in proper etiquette. Our emphasis is on casual elegance and we uphold a superior level of service. This job would include other duties as assigned. Ability to obtain Utah Food Handler's Certificate. Entry-level wage is $7.50/hr.

Servery Line Cook - Must be 18 years of age or older. Performs a wide range of duties involved with preparing and/or serving foods and beverages in one or more of a variety of food service environments. May perform such duties as preparing salad items, hot foods, and/or cold foods, and/or assisting in the preparation of bakery items. as appropriate to the position. May serve food to customers and/or perform supervisory duties, as appropriate. No less than high school; at least one year of experience or culinary education that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Ability to obtain Utah Food Handler's Certificate. Entry-level wage is $8.50/hr.

Shuttle Drivers - Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have valid CDL and Passenger Endorsement. Hours will range from 7:00 or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Expect to work Holidays and weekends. Entry-level wage is $12/hr.

Ski and Snowboard Instructors - Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be certified or willing to attend our award winning apprentice program. Both full- and part-time positions available. Must also have excellent customer service skills. Expect to work Holidays and weekends. Wage depends upon experience and certification level.

Ski Patrol - Must be 21 years of age or older. EMT or OEC and CPR certified only. Must be an expert skier. Sorry, no snowboarders. Duties include, but are not limited to, training in slope specific first aid, hill safety, and Snowbasin Mt. Operations. Snowbasin is a Class A avalanche area with almost 3000 skiable acres of varied terrain. Entry-level wage is $8.50/hr.

Ski/Snowboard Rental Technician - Must be 18 years of age or older. This is a full- or part-time position. Must have excellent customer service skills as well as cash handling skills. Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced work environment. Experience preferred, however some training will be provided. Expect to work Holidays and weekends. Entry-level wage is $8.50/hr.

Ski/Snowboard Technician - Must be 18 years of age or older. This is a seasonal, full-time position. Must have Wintersteiger machine repair knowledge. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be able to work in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment. Expect to work Holidays and weekends. Entry-level wage is based on experience.

Snow Cat Operator/Grooming - Must be 18 years of age or older. Heavy equipment operating experience preferred. Some training will be provided specific to Snow Cat operating. This position requires the employee to work swing or graveyard shifts. Entry-level wage is $9/hr.

Snow Safety - Must be 21 years of age or older. EMT or OEC and CPR certified only, plus specialized avalanche control and lift evacuation knowledge. Extensive explosives handling certification is also required. Snowbasin is a Class A avalanche area with almost 3000 skiable acres of varied terrain. Must be an expert skier. The Snow Safety staff works in conjunction with the Ski Patrol. Wage depends upon experience.

Snowmaking - Must be 18 years of age or older. This is an outdoor job, monitoring and adjusting snow guns. Must be able to work graveyard and/or day shifts. You will learn how to monitor the computer and make necessary adjustments to water and air mixtures. You must have excellent skiing ability and able to lift and carry various equipment on skis. Entry-level wage is $8.50/hr.

Ticket Checkers - Must be 16 years of age or older. This is an outdoor, daytime position. Individual will be responsible for checking for improper, revoked, stolen or falsified passes and other duties as assigned. Requires assertive personality with good people skills. Expect to work Holidays and weekends. Entry-level wage is $7.50/hr.

Ticket Sales - Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have good customer service and cash handling skills. This is a full- and/or part-time position. Expect to work all Holidays and some weekends. Entry-level wage is $7.50/hr.

Winter Sports Desk Coordinators - Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have good computer, telephone and cash handling skills. Must be able to work in a fast paced, stressful environment. Must have good people skills. Expect to work Holidays and weekends. Entry-level wage is $8/hr.
