All up an comers they are participating in local and national events and carry editorial coverage both regionally and nationally. Though some of our team riders are not originally form Snowbasin they all call it their home mountain now. Our athletes work alongside with terrain park and events crews to make sure Snowbasin is seen as the industry standard of how terrain parks should look and run.

Where did you learn to ski/ride?
Jackson Hole/Powder Mountain
Center Mount/Traditional Mount?
Telemark mount
What is your favorite run at Snowbasin?
I absolutely love Party Chute and The Fingers #2; they're short, fun, slightly techie runs with a good pitch. And other than that..... well, I'll keep those runs to myself.
Music?
I jam out to a ton of different genres and bands, essentially whatever gets my flow moving on a given day: Blink-182 to Wick-It to Bob Marley, Lupe Fiasco, Beastie Boys, Tribe, Zion I, O.C.M.S., Edward Sharpe, Jimi, etc
Who gets you excited to ride/ski?
I love skiing with my friends that comprise a good group of differing yet complimenting styles, mountain vision, humor, and those that just love to really enjoy what the mountain has to offer.
If you could ride anywhere, where would it be?
Definitely a private/empty "everyday is a pow day" mountain with tons of steeps, cliffs, chutes, and long long runs.
What do you do off the hill?
Other than work, work, and more work, I can be found playing hockey year round, mountain biking in the off-season, ice climbing, 70 feet up in a tree cutting it down, behind a video camera, canyoneering, and finding some new spot to enjoy life.
Sponsors?

Where did you learn to ski/ride?
Utah
Center Mount/Traditional Mount?
Not quite core center, but usually forward of traditional mounting lines. Depends on the ski.
What is your favorite run at Snowbasin?
You can't make me pick just one. Demoisy Cirque, Needles Cirque, MB Cirque, The Fingers, No Name, The Sisters…. Hell's. I like cliffs and they tend hang out at the top of the mountain.
Music?
Radiohead, The National, Flaming Lips, Sufjan Stevens, TV on The Radio, Grizzly Bear, Sigur Ros, Royksopp… Too many to name, but Radiohead has held down the #1 spot for probably a decade now.
Who gets you excited to ride/ski?
Anybody who's having a good time and pushing themselves. It's always cool to see how excited someone gets when they progress or learn a new trick. That gets me more stoked than anything (and inturn pushes me). I like skiing with people who are positive and know how to play it safe while still pushing it.
If you could ride anywhere, where would it be?
Everywhere. I need to travel more, but leaving Utah to go skiing is like leaving the desert to go find sand. There's a reason so many great skiers call Utah home. I'd like to get back to BC this season and I'd like to get back to AK in the spring.
What do you do off the hill?
Paint, draw, write, design, restore, invest, create, run. I've gotten pretty excited by the revitalization efforts/potential of downtown Ogden and tend to spend most of my time and money working towards that end.

Why do you ride Snowbasin?
Best mountain in Utah. The locals are all my best friends!
Music?
I play a little bit, oh, hip hop and hardcore mostly.
Who gets you excited to ride/ski?
My wife really, when I'm not feeling it she drags me out anyway and I end up having a great time.
If you could ride anywhere, where would it be?
I've ridden from Whistler to Japan and nothing compares to Utah. But really anywhere with a kicker, rail, or slash is just fine with me.
What do you do off the hill?
I have been really getting into wakeboarding lately. Doing comps and just hanging out on the boat. Skateboarding and BMX dirt jumping are big passions of mine. And lots of golf since I'm getting old and hurt a lot more.

Where did you learn to ski/ride?
I learned to ski at Snowbasin before I could remember, I proudly hold 17 Snowbasin season passes.
Center Mount/Traditional Mount?
I like to ride Center Mount on my park ski's, -2 on my Powder skis.
What is your favorite run at Snowbasin?
My favorite run would have to be Dans, it's always a good time to cruise the rollers.
Music?
I like to listen to Lil Wayne, Blink 182, Hawthorne Hieghts and Kesha, but I have just recently started skiing to Black Violin, they have a lot of really fun stuff.
Who gets you excited to ride/ski?
Probably the weather man, ha always stoked to hear clear skies and no wind.
If you could ride anywhere, where would it be?
Well I have really been trying to hit a new hand rail on the Weber State campus but security always kicks me out as soon as I get it set up, so it would be really cool to get a window of opportunity and ride there without security on my case, Otherwise I'd have to say Snowbasin, there is no other place in the world where you can shred steeps and cliffs, get high speed on a groomer and then ride a perfectly shaped park in one run.
What do you do off the hill?
I like to hangout friends a lot, hit the ladys up, go long boarding, Downhill Mountain biking, really whatever I'm feeling that day. I just like to have a good time.

The Australian Women's Aerial Ski Team, also known as "The Flying Kangaroos," has made Snowbasin their North American Home Resort since 2003. Snowbasin is proud to welcome "The Flying Kangaroos" back! The team returns to Snowbasin once again from the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia, located in Melbourne.
The team of young women includes World Champions. These women will be working on their technical skiing skills, aerial jumping, and simply skiing different types of terrain at Snowbasin.
When the team is at Snowbasin they will be easy to recognize in their Australian ski team uniforms. Our guests are invited to watch these athletes perfect their skiing skills, as well as say hello.
Snowbasin has hosted the VIS National Aerial Skiing Development program for the past 7 years, providing warm and welcoming hospitality to the fledgling athletes who have skied there. The program makes its home at Snowbasin for three months, under the guidance of Steve Rogers, the OWI's North American Operations Manager. Development Program Manager Belinda Price supervises the team, which last year included six young women.
Apart from the terrain, Snowbasin boasts mountain facilities second to none, huge snowfalls and great snow and weather conditions. The local community also welcomes our team with open arms, which is very important for young athletes living away from home for such a long time, some of them for the first time.
