Our Specialty Ski & Snowboard Clinics are created to take your skills to the next level. From women instructing women to kids all mountain exploring learn to ski and snowboard deep snow, navigate steep terrain, fine tune your turns, or get into the terrain park, Snowbasin has a program for you.
Snow Divas
Instruction by Women for Women.
Women carry their weight differently than men. Snow Divas workshops provide customized coaching for women of all abilities in a relaxed atmosphere. The program is designed to build skills as well as confidence to ensure a great experience skiing/snowboarding any run on the mountain.
Session One: Three hours - Beginner through Advanced
Dates: Sundays, January 6, 13, 20, 27, February 3
Time: 10 am to 1 pm (Meet in Earl's Lodge)

High Flyers Program - NEW this Year!

Want to be challenged, here is your opportunity to take flight with Snowbasin's best level 3 coaches on Sundays. Have the chance to explore the mountain and challenge your self with every turn and run. You like bumps, powder and steep pitches? Anything you want to attack on the mountain Snowbasin's experienced instructors will take you to that next level.
Session: Three hours - Intermediate through Advanced

All Mountain Club - Requires a minimum of five students per program
Goal: The goal is to develop all mountain skiers/riders with the ability to ski/ride anywhere on the mountain (that is open and safe) under any conditions. To provide a program that gives every young athlete the opportunity to be their best, progress individually while working and improving together as a team. A desire for FUN is required. All programs and acceptance will be determined through a skiing assessment PRIOR to placement.
Mountain Explorers: age 5-6
This program is designed to progress skiers to the next level of all mountain skiing. The goal is to introduce children to the fundamentals of good skiing etiquette and sportsmanship that will help them develop into well rounded, skilled skiers. The focus is on safety, fun and learning, in a non-competitive setting. This program is ideal for children who have previous lessons and experience. All skiers must have graduated from using the “edgie-wedgie” ski trainer, have ridden the Becker Chair in lessons, and qualify per instructor approval. Placement day will clarify if children are ready to start in the Mountain Explorers or need further lessons in our cubs programs.

Mountain Explorers Plus: ages 7-12
Participants establish a solid foundation of athletic skiing skills on more varied all mountain terrain. Children learn to navigate the terrain on groomed and ungroomed snow, through bumps and trees. Explorers gain skills and social development with peers in a non-competitive setting. Emphasis on skills each week includes athletic stance, balance, edging, and pressuring movements to further advance the skill set. Coaching ratio approximately 1 to 6 participants.

Big Mountain Program: ages 13-18
Expand your ability and your horizons in this program. Free Ski Program is an all mountain alternative for the skier who knows where they want to ski on the mountain. This program is for skiers who have had previous experience but would like guidance to find the secret powder stash, master the terrain park and make smart, safe decisions while on the mountain. Each participant will be put in a group of similar skiers with the perfect professional coach to lead the way. Coaching ratio approximately 1 to 8.
